Fort Augustus, set on the southern end of Loch Ness is the location of Fort Augustus Abbey. Built in 1876 for the St Benedictine monks the abbey enjoyed its imposing presence until 1998 when the monks were no longer able to sustain themselves.

The historic accommodation has since been fully restored and modernised into exclusive residential and holiday homes.
