situated in the former part of the school wing.
The bright, open plan living area incorporates a
full height south facing window. Stylish
furnishings and high specification fittings
promise to make your stay both memorable and
relaxing; as a guest you will have access to all

Facilities
included are The BOATHOUSE RESTAURANT providing an
idyllic setting on the shores of Loch Ness in
which you can enjoy delicious, locally sourced
food. The HIGHLAND CLUB SPA AND SWIMMING POOL will
be available autumn 2010. Within the stunning
grounds OUTDOOR PICNIC TABLES AND BBQ'S are
provided for guest use; TENNIS COURT, outdoor
TABLE TENNIS, CROQUET LAWN, GIANT CHESS and
CHILDRENS ADVENTURE PLAY AREA promise to keep
everyone amused. The Monks refectory has been
transformed into a CLUB LOUNGE with its oak
panelled walls and stained glass windows,
providing a sumptuous area to relax with friends
or enjoy a game of SNOOKER (WIFI access
available).
Please note that
building and restoration work at the Abbey is
ongoing and this is reflected in the current
reduced tariffs. Please be aware that apartments
advertised are finished but due to the nature of
the project we cannot guarantee that you may not
be inconvenienced at some point in your
stay.

lawns of The Highland Club.

the walls and floors. Luxury complimentary

is fitted out to a very high specification and
finished with marble work tops.

bright open-plan area overlooking the Moat House
bridge to the south.

acres, the landscaped private gardens are
surrounded by The Caledonian Canal, River Tarff
and the western shores of Loch Ness with private
harbour and with permission for
fishing.

Local Activities
Fort Augustus has a
number of local pubs/restaurants, local
supermarket and a variety of gift shops all within
a few minutes walk. The beautiful beaches of the
West Coast of Scotland can be found about an hour
away with easy access to Isle of Skye across the
new bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh. To the East there
are several beaches in the Dornoch/Black Isle
area.Whisky Distilleries are in all directions,
while for the children, the Hogwart's Express is a
train that runs along the valley where Harry
Potter was filmed. The nearby ruins of Urquhart
Castle, Cawdor Castle and the world famous Eilean
Donan Castle are all within an hour's drive. Not
forgetting the Loch Ness Visitor's Centre and the
monster itself....
