As you venture out from your luxury holiday accommodation, you will discover countless highland walks and trails to spend your time if you’re looking to explore Scotland and its magnificent natural beauty.

Here are just a few ideas of outdoor activities to get stuck into during your stay with us at The Highland Club.

Ice Climbing Centre

This one is technically indoors, but constructed using 400 tonnes of real snow and ice, whether you’re a beginner or an avid winter climber, Ice Factor indoor ice climbing wall is a great way to challenge your body and take part in an activity you wouldn’t get to do unless you were on holiday!

Standing at 12m high, the Ice Climbing Centre welcomes around 130,000 annual visitors and is popular for all ages 12yr and above.

If you’re not afraid of the cold and are looking to try your hand at something completely new, take a drive south of your holiday property at The Highland Club to the Ice Climbing Centre to discover a new hobby and enjoy a rewarding experience.

Active Highs - Outdoor Adventure Pursuits

Just a 20-minute drive away from our Loch Ness base, you’ll find Active Highs. If you’re an adrenaline junky and a lover of all things outdoors, there’s something for everyone.

From canoeing, to white water rafting, to abseiling, to gorge walking; whatever activity you’re keen to try out, you are guaranteed an exhilarating experience!

Based on the side of Loch Oich, right in the middle of the Great Glen, you’ll be able to explore some of Scotland’s natural waters, take in the breath-taking scenery, and try an exciting activity all at the same time.
